Við erum hjónin Halla Bára Gestsdóttir og Gunnar Sverrisson. Við höfum unnið saman í ansi mörg ár og að ýmsum verkefnum. Við búum í Reykjavík ásamt börnum en viljum eyða góðum tíma í sveitinni okkar og höfum alltaf verið mikið á ferðinni þótt við kjósum almenn rólegheit og afslappað andrúmsloft.

Halla Bára – er með masterspróf í innanhússhönnun frá Domus Academy í Mílanó á Ítalíu. Einnig með BA-próf í stjórnmálafræði frá Háskóla Íslands. Vinnur sjálfstætt við innanhússhönnun og ráðgjöf.
Gunnar Sverrisson – fór að vinna við ljósmyndun sextán ára gamall, á íþróttadeild DV, meðfram skóla. Unnið sem ljósmyndari allar götur síðan; á blöðum, tímaritum og við ýmis sérverkefni.
Við höfum í gegnum árin komið að útgáfu bóka og tímarita um heimili og hönnun ásamt þáttum er snúa að mat og matargerð. Þar hefur ljósmyndunin spilað stóran þátt og þar liggur sameiginlegt áhugasvið okkar. 
Saman stofnuðum við tímaritið Ak sem gefið var út á Akureyri. Einnig stofnuðum við og ritstýrðum tímaritinu Lifun sem kom út með  Morgunblaðinu og síðar komum við á legg og ritstýrðum tímaritinu Veggfóðri sem 365 gaf út. Einnig komum við að útgáfu bókanna Heimilisbragur, Bústaðir, Einbýlishús, Árstíðir og 50 fallegar golfbrautir. Nú síðast ritstýrði Halla Bára handavinnu- og hannyrðaklúbbnum Saumaklúbbnum.

home & delicious – er staður fyrir hugmyndir okkar og vinnu, framhald af því sem við höfum unnið við og komið að. Heimilið og maturinn, umhverfi okkar og náttúran; hvernig við hugsum þetta og förum með það er okkur hugleikið. Síðan er ætluð að veita fólki innblástur og gefa hugmyndir. Halla Bára Gestsdóttir
Born on the 3rd of February 1973 in Iceland.

Graduated from the University of Iceland 1997 with BA in Political Science. Aim with study: to be better prepared of working in media.

1996-1997 worked as an assistant at the National Radio while studying.

Summer of 1996, beside study, worked as a journalist at a local newspaper in Akureyri, Iceland. Took part in a merge of two newspapers, then named Dagur, and was working as a lifestyle journalist and food writer.

From spring 1997 till autumn 1998 editor in chief at the weekend edition of the newspaper Dagur. Lifestyle and food writer, head of graphic design. Started working with my husband, as a team, who is a photographer.

From autumn 1998 till 2000 supervisor for the magazine publisher Fróði when it came to journalistic projects in the country. Worked for lifestyle, food and homes&design magazines. Writing and styling articles. Freelance graphic-design and photographic projects. Started specializing in homes and design styling work, also food styling and writing, and photographic projects with my husband.

2000 founded our own publishing company were the focus was on the northern part of the country. Founded a new lifestyle magazine and later a weekly one, the first one in Iceland published outside the capital. Edited and designed the look. Design, photograph and styling projects for companys paralell the magazine work. The design and layout, in addition to the choose of size and paper was noticed in the publishing-, advertising- and design business for simple but definite look which was ahead of it´s time.

2000-2001 worked for The Professional Theatre in Akureyri as supervisor in publishing projects. (Great experience in theatrical work as father an actor and mother worked there as a hairdresser, almost „grew up” in theater. Played there myself as a child!).

2002 founded, edited and designed a new homes and design magazine, which was the first one in Iceland to be a supplement with a newspaper. The magazine was later bought by the biggest newspaper publisher and had the most distribution of a magazine in Iceland. The magazine, named Lifun, had a breakthrough layout were the photographs were the most important thing. Articles about homes and design were shown in a new and pictorial way, were everything from Arne Jacobsen´s SAS Royal in Copenhagen to a remote hut in the country were visited and written about. We (the editors, a couple and a team) basically did everything by ourself, from cooking and styling to designing the main look/frame around the magazine and advertisements connected to it.

Summer 2005, asked to establish, be editors (with my husband) and design a new home and design magazine for the biggest media company in Iceland. In connection with a new tv show were we presented the magazine with subjects from it.

2002-2005 writing articles about arcitechture, design and design related projects.

2006 founded a publishing company, with my husband and an interior architect friend living in China, named NENNA (nenna.is). Publishing of four concept books; photography, architecture and design. Published books are Icelandic Cottages and Icelandic Interior in 2006 / Seasons-photography book of nature and Modern Icelandic Houses in 2007.

2006-2007 studied in Domus Academy in Milano, taking Master in Interior and Living design. Thought of it as the next step in my career were my interest lies in these two words and concepts; interior and living. With this study I got a great experience in designing and broadened my mind. Master Thesis called Cheap and Chiq–Hotel Design, where I created a family hotel; the concept and design ideas. The concept turned into a brand extension with the retailer Habitat, in the UK, where my conceptual ideas and their heritage, concept and design vision are twinned into making a family hotel with real solutions of real problems facing travelling families.

2008-2012 various design projects for companies and residences. Working for the biggest Trade Union in Iceland on renovating, rethinking and designing their holiday homes and cottages. Working as an editor on Saumaklúbburinn, hand and craft magazine.

Gunnar Sverrisson
Born on the 19th of April 1970 in Iceland.

Started working as a sports-photographer 1986, 16 years old, beside school. From 1990-1998 working on daily newspapers as a photographer and photo editor. Three times won press-prizes for best picture. Teaching photography at elementary schools.

From autumn 1998 till 2000 supervisor and photographer for the magazine publisher Fróði when it came to journalistic projects in the country. Worked for lifestyle, food and homes&design magazines. Freelance photographic and graphic-design projects. Started specializing in homes and design photography.

From 1994 been working with the software Photoshop, image-editing all my photos by myself.

All books were interior, icelandic landscape and stunishing icelandic view in well designed homes are connected. Seasons-photography book of nature published in 2007 / 50 beautiful Golf Holes published in 2008.

2007 working for Wallpaper, photographing for travel guide Reykjavík.

Since 2008 working for the company 66°North Ltd. which is one of Iceland´s oldest manufacturing companies specializing in outdoor clothing. Working for the University of Iceland.

2011-2012 recording for Verne Global the making of a data centre in Keflavík Iceland.

2012 working for Wallpaper, photographing for travel guide Reykjavík.

Since 2008 worked for LivingInside photoagency in Milano Italy
